We snuggled in bed this morning listening to the rain. Yes....rain.....Thank you, God!
Sara tagged along to the grocery store with me. She was so excited about the rain. She kept saying "it's raining, it's pouring" and tried to catch raindrops on her tongue. She was a good helper and so happy. She sang "you gotta try new foods because they might taste good" from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood and named off her favorite fruits and vegetables in the produce section....bananas, carrots, peppers, strawberries. She cracks me up...along with a few other shoppers. Love this girl so much!
Once we were home, we took a rain walk to burn of some energy. It was more like a rain run. She ran all the way down to the corner, stopped, said "ready, set, go" and ran back. She still runs like a drunken sailor and laughs all the way....so cute!
Once our run was over, she explored the downspout and the puddles in the driveway. She is getting better and better at climbing and climbed into gramp's trailer all by herself.

We came inside and baked muffins and prepped our veggies for the week. Then we did a lot of snuggling on the sofa. So thankful for the rain and some much needed time with my girl. I'm happy and centered again. Now, time to watch some football....go Broncos!!!
