Sara's 4th Birthday

We had a celebration filled week to celebrate Sara's 4th birthday. Here's some pictures from all the fun:

Her actual birthday day, we have a visit from Marlo and the boys. We ate pizza, ate cake, and opened presents,

Our New (to us) Tent Trailer

We are officially owners of a tent trailer! So excited and ready to go camping. Our neighbors around the corner were getting ready to sell it. We told them we were interested in getting one someday and when they told us the price we were sold. Too good of a deal to pass up and it's in really good shape.













Looking forward to taking Sara camping and roasting marshmallows and hot chocolate in the morning. I loved camping as a kid and I'm looking forward to fostering a love of the outdoors with Sara.

Tahoe Time!

We did a quick weekend trip to Tahoe. We stayed at the Resort at Squaw Creek thanks to a groupon deal. The resort was nice. Loved the pool with bar service. However, it was crowded and busy, so I'm not sure we would stay there again. I missed the Sunnyside/Tahoma laid-back vibe.










We headed to Sugar Pine to hang out on the beach for a bit. Sara wasn't really a fan of the beach, but we managed to hang out for a bit. We stopped for brunch on the deck at Fire Sign on our way. Mimosas on the deck made for a perfect morning.





















We hung out at the pool. We were so proud of Sara for telling us when she was done. She said "cold" "home" and got really snuggley, so we got out and warmed up in the sun.





All in all, a great mini getaway. Tahoe in the summer time is my favorite place on earth!
