Walnut Creek Model Railroad

Since we got all our errands done on Saturday, we decided to play on Sunday. We have been trying to check out new places near us. We are so lucky to have so many options within a short distance of our home.
It was clear and sunny, but windy and cold. Mt. Diablo has a light dusting of snow...brrr! Too cold and windy for a walk to the park, so we decided to check out the model railroad in Walnut Creek. What a cool place...lots to check out. They even have an indoor rain storm with real raindrops. Larkey Park is right next door, so this place is perfect to check out the trains and then have a picnic at park. The pictures don't do it justice!
