Happy Halloween

Brian and I have started a tradition of carving pumpkins several days before Halloween. On the night of Halloween, we make a yummy pasta dinner, open a bottle of wine, and pass out candy. This year was no exception!
This year marked our 1st Halloween with Belle, so Brian got out his sketch book and used her as inspiration for his pumpkin...

Despite the threat of rain, the showers parted and let the kids go trick-r-treating. We had fun passing out candy and drinking wine. Belle enjoyed seeing the cute kids in their costumes. Remarkably, she didn't even bark after the first couple of kids. She just sat and watched them at the door. She is turning out to be such a good girl!
